We collect very little, and we keep it carefully.
What we collect
We collect only what you type into a form on this website.
- The Layer Letter. Your email address.
- Reservations. Your name, your email address and the tier you chose.
- Stories. Your name, your city, your Number, your story, and whether we may publish it.
We also keep a configuration if you save one in the Builder. It is stored in the web address, not on our servers.
What we do not collect
We do not use advertising trackers. We do not sell, rent or trade your information. We do not build a profile of you. We know your Number only if you tell us.
How we use it
We use your email address to send what you asked for, and nothing else. We use reservation details to hold your tier. We read every story. We publish a story only if you said we may.
How long we keep it
Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Reservation details are kept for 14 days after your tier is released. Stories are kept until you ask us to remove them.
Your choices
You may ask us to see, correct or delete anything you have sent us. Write to [email protected]. We reply within one business day.
Security
Form submissions travel over an encrypted connection and are stored on a server we manage ourselves. Access is limited to the people who need it, which is three people.
