STRATA

STRATA™ 100-Layer Pillow

One hundred layers. One number. Yours.

The last pillow you’ll ever adjust. Every night.

STRATA is a pillow made of one hundred individually removable layers across eight material families. You sleep on all of them. Then, night by night, you remove what you don’t need, until what remains is exactly right. The count at which you stop is your Strata Number™. It is yours forever.

From $899 · STRATA $1,299

Ships in 3 to 5 business days in a numbered crate. Every crate is opened once.1

Unboxing

Unboxing. The crate opens and one hundred layers fan out, in order, like a deck that has never been shuffled.

A numbered pine crate opens and one hundred layers fan out in order, like a deck of cards that has never been shuffled.
  1. 1Break the numbered seal. It is not resealable. Neither is the decision.
  2. 2Lift the lid. The layers fan out in order, 1 at the top.
  3. 3Lift the stack by its base, never by Layer 1.
  4. 4Place it on the bed, cover side up, label to the headboard.
  5. 5Put the Layer Caddy where you can reach it from the pillow.
  6. 6Sleep on all one hundred. Remove nothing tonight.

Care.

  • Layers are not machine-washable.
  • Layers are not dishwasher-safe.
  • Layers are not to be lent.

The Bone Linen cover is machine-washable at 30°C and line-dried in shade. Layers should be aired monthly on a flat, clean surface, in their numbered order. Spot-clean with a damp cloth and cold water. Never iron a Void Layer. There is nothing to iron.

Removed layers keep best in the Layer Caddy, at room temperature, away from direct sun and from relatives.
